should this photo be pulled off the site?

This is my photo upload.

I was thinking, should this be on the site? My Grandma owns this photo. She didn't take the photo but I did state the photographer name that I found on back. The connection this photo has to me is that my late Grandpa is the engineer. Opinions? I want to make sure I do the right thing. Thanks

From what I recall, others have done things similarly, making it clear in the remarks that they are not the photographer. If one has an entire set, then I like what Charles Freericks has done, setting up a separate id, but that seems way overkill here. I say leave it.

Obviously it's up to the admins, but I wonder if the best thing to have done would have been to create new account and either say Collection of Travis Dewitz or put the photogrpher as J. P. Perrier. You clearly state who the photograper is in the caption, yet you're still listed as the Photographer just because that's how RP does it.

I'd say e-mail one of the Chris's.

Regardless of the outcome, I think it's wonderful to have that photo of your Grandfather on the train.

I agree with J. Your one photo is not worth the hassle of setting up a "Collection Of" account. I'd maybe just bold the 1st sentence in your remarks of who the photographer is just to make it stand out a little more. The Chris' will have the final say though. Either way, great photo in the DB, and its nice that you have a photo of Grandpa on the rails.

If you will create a "collection of" account we can move the photo in question to that new account very easily. It might not be a bad idea to go ahead and create the new account in case you come across images in the future that you would like to post. Just drop us an email and we'll move the photo to the new account.
