Is Deshler better?

Fellow Railfans,

I wanted to get peoples thoughts on which is better, Deshler or Fostoria. I know the same east, west CSX trains go through both towns. What about north, south trains through Deshler. How are the photo ops in Deshler? Is there any place to eat or sleep?

Been there many times for a number of reasons, first it's urban, the people are friendly, the locals have the scanner hooked up for all to hear, you can park or camp there,
and food nearby.
The train movements are not only east/west, north/south, but also with three connecting tracks the movements are varied. Check Virtual Earth or Google Earth for an aerial view. The motive power is varied and colorful. I'm not one to railfan in the cities but Deshler, with side trips to Leipsic and Hamler is well worth the a few days of your time. As far as photo ops, lots and lots. Check this site for some of the photos taken in the area. Oh, it does get warm there, so be prepared.
