Default Any Hope?

There have been some lower light photos accepted lately. Not justifying this should make just because of that, but that the screeners have been open to not perfectly lit photos lately. The sun is falling behind the mountains, not clouds and the clouds give the sky the color.

I like nearly everything about this shot, except for the fact that it is a black NS unit on the point. I think your shot would have made it if there was something like a new BNSF unit out front that made it stand out more. You definitely captured a mood there, but I can't think of what you could do to get it in, unfortunately.

That is some undramatic low lighting. Plus the train is pretty buried in the bushes.

It had some potential, but I don't see any hope here myself.

I think the lighting is fine. It is more a compositional issue with the train both buried in the bushes and in an awkward location.
