Default Bad cropping ? What the !#&%@

How can I crop this any better ?

RP does not much care for trains centered vertically in the frame, this train is right about at the middle vertically. Fortunately, you can crop at the top or the bottom and end up with a 3:2 format that fits RP's criteria. Pick one and crop. I would dump some of the plain blue sky before dumping the foreground.

I suggest you crop the top until you have a 1024x683 image.

I got hit with a bad crop too, but I dont think theres any way to fix it.

The blown out highlights on the first 3 cars kill it for me. I dont really think rule of thirds applies to broad-side shots like that personally. You got a bad roll on screener roulette in terms of the bad cropping monster. But like I said, the glare kills it for me.

Agree on all advise to the OP.

For this one, did you crop the right side at all? If so, put enough of it back so the loco is cut off.
