Default Asking for suggestions again...

This was taken during a tie replacement project here. It's a spike driver that has just had the hopper loaded up.

This one was bagged for bad cropping that I can't quite figure out.

This was the original submission:

I did some cropping on the re-submit:

Any ideas? I really like this photo.

Thanks!

I'd like to see the whole machine, so I'm thinking that's why it was rejected

I think it's a good photo and with a little work, it will be on RP. First off, I'm not sure about the dimensions. It's 890X805 which I thought would get rejected for that alone. If you shot wider on the original, go back and work down again. The first thing to do is make sure you get ALL of the rail under the contraption in the shot and at least some ballast. There may could be some room on the right side included too. I like the close up of the man on the machine, so try to concentrate on that while keeping something more geared to RP's dimension requirements.

Yeah, and it's probably a good thing he didn't have the bucket sitting on its side...

Yeah! That could cause some serious damage.
