Cool Would you Recommend?

Hey guys,

Well, Im finally going to leave the Point and Shoot behind, and although I know that a DSLR would automatically be better, I always heard poor things about the stock 18-55 lens. So searching through some other deals, I found the Nikon D60, with a 18-135mm lens plus some other goodies for only 670 bucks. But now my question to you all is, how good of service does 1wayphoto.com have? Is it legit? Has anyone ever bought from them?

Thanks in advance,

Alec

I *think* the relevant reference to check is resellerratings.com. Something like that.

There are other sites that look very similiar to that one that are fake. You never get what you order and if you do they end up charging more I have heard. A canon XTI for $300? Google 1wayphoto without the dot com and see all the bad reviews!

Ya, I think I owe JRMDC a big "THANKS!" for saving me from a huge problem. I saw nothing but horror stories from that site, Travis.

And now I have moved on to find something thats in my price range, and even though it may lack some of the "amazing" things that the big guns have, its no doubt a huge step up for me. Im heavily thinking about a Pentax K200D. I have just enough money to buy it with the stock lense (18-55mm) and then I'll probably end up getting a 50-200mm shortly after. Does anyone shoot with one of these, or the K100D?

Hehe, Matt, If you give me the money I wouldn't have any problem with taking up your offer!

Alec

Thats a good deal for a D60 actually, I use a D80 myself. I dont much care for the 18-135 being that it doesnt have vibration reduction, but other than that its a good lens. I know the kit i got was the D80 body $729, and the 18-135 lens $225 or $325 i dont remember, the kit was abour $1,009 a Ritz Camera.
