I just finally got the hang of the uploading and editting process there and am now building my portfolio. The link is

http://jch9596.rrpicturearchives.net/

Some things fit better there than here meaning not all the shots there are RP-knockoffs. If I ever get my film scanner working, I have all kinds of shots from 99 to 2004 that can go there.

I really like the recent upgrades to rrpicturearchives, most notably the Favorite Contributor deal that they got going over there now. It'll send an e-mail to me letting me know Pat Scott or Richard Hart or others have uploaded new photos. That aspect really cuts down on the dreck and model RR shots that get uploaded there...

Amen to that. This lets you get right to the chase, not having to sift through every out of focus backlit and unlevel wedgie of a train sitting behind a row of shrubs six miles away. It most certainly has its share of phoamers with cameras willing and able to point and shoot at anything train related, regardless of lighting, exposure, clutter, angle, etc., rather than photographers. There are other features that allow you to bypass all the crap shots, such as the editor's picks and personal picks. The personal picks, however, get misused by some people who make every shot they upload a personal pick, which is not its intention. This means you get to sift through a lot of crap yet again.

Ween, you are on my list, too, and have been from day one. I'm surprised you put me on your list, however, as that will only guarantee to fill your email box with links to UP trains.
