I agree, nice looking unit. I'd prefer a bit more contrast on the color end, but tastes differ. I like the black/gray on the non-color end.

If you want to see some "fun" go on NS' Facebook page and see the reaction from a bunch of employees who got their furlough notices as NS is releasing more "toys"...

Pretty Scrooge-like to let the axe fall on Christmas eve.
One post said "...since NS doesn't pay state unemployment, we don't get any".
If true, how does NS get away with that?

It is. When I applied for unemployment earlier this year one of the first questions was if I worked for a railroad because of the Unions and RR retirement.

One meaning of "nag" is old horse. Could be an anti-NS pejorative. Or a friendly sarcastic phrase. Or ...

Must be sad not being able to understand that their paychecks had nothing to do with these engines.

I personally have had a problem with those trying to tell us to turn railroad photography into an "art form." It's fine for them to do so, I welcome it in fact, but what I do have a problem with is that the practitioners of the more "arty" shots, I have found, tend to look down their nose's at others who are shooting more "mundane" shots.
Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG
