Default Big Adobe Sale

http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-com-...s-coupons.html

I'm getting the PSE 9, $50 after rebate. Any reason why I should get the box version instead of the download?

Lightroom for $200. Don't recall the other deals.

Hmm... I've just found that Amazon has it for $65 and rebate for net of $45.

Perhaps silly of me to think that Adobe was going to give the lowest price. They are not known for deals or low pricing.

Well, Lightroom 3 is still a good deal, Amazon is at $285.

The full product is an absurd price. I sleep just fine at night. But I commend you for your strong moral stance.

If you know anyone in education you should look into getting lightroom from them. Only $79.

Hi J,

If you buy the download, would that license allow you to re-download if your current hard drive bit the dust? That's the only thing I can think of. I like having the CD with the software on it for emergencies and/or if I upgrade to a new computer.

I dug a bit deeper into the Lightroom deal yesterday and it looked to me as if there were some strings attached....strings such that you'd need to buy another, more expensive product to get that $200 deal. Has anyone else looked into it and come away with a different impression?

If the deal's not there, I will probably still get Lightroom. I can probably get it just as cheaply as anyplace at B&H. The only problem with all of these Adobe Products is that you still need to hit Borders or B&N with 40 bucks if you want a decent, printed user manual.

I think I saw something to the effect that one can re-download. I've gone ahead and saved the $5 and gone through Amazon. Realized after I ordered it that I may have wanted to use the $5 to get it right away with the download, oh well, will just use Canon DPP for a while. Could cancel the order, not worth the hassle.

Sorry to hear about Lightroom.

I want a Maserati Quattroporte, but the $150k price tag is absurd. Does that mean I should just go steal one?

What an idiotic statement.

How would you feel if your images were stolen?
