Default NOT RP material, but still pretty cool!

Good evening all-
I was looking through some photos and came across this photo from last month.

First, the story behind it.
Many of you may know that the Valley Railroad was rebuilding a Chinese SY acquired from the Knox and Kane Railroad. When the locomotive arrived to the Valley, it was decided that it would be ideal for it to face south to facilitate rebuilding. However, the Valley line runs North/South, and all trains operate north and perform a run around move to operate south. Thus, the locomotive would have to be turned. It was run down to the end of the Valley under its own steam, a journey of about 3.8 miles.

There it was met by the P&W and pulled onto Amtrak territory via the west leg of the Valley Wye out to the Northeast Corridor mainline. It was then shoved, "under the wire", to the east leg of the wye, and pulled back up to the Valley right of way. This photo was taken as the locomotive, now lettered "New Haven" and numbered "3025" was turned by the Providence and Worcester Railroad at the Valley Wye at Old Saybrook, Connecticut.

Before anyone jumps on the fact that there is, aesthetically, not much pleasing about this image, let me just say, I know it's not very well done, at all. There is quite a bit wrong with it, but besides that, I just wanted to share the image here because it would never get on the site, and I believe, it's just pretty cool! One wonders what the engineer and passengers on the Westbound Acela were thinking when they look out the window of their high speed, modern, tilting train, and see a steam locomotive on the next track?

Here are some photos of the finished product.

Additional photos of the 3025 can be found by simply searching VALE 3025 in the Keyword field of the Search Engine!

Anyways, comments are welcome and always encouraged.
