Default Csx 965, 981, 982..

Apparently these guys didn't get the memo that they're supposed to be pulling coal drags because they showed up in Nashville while I was eating lunch today in a park near my office:

I'd seen a single with the new logo before, but this was the first time I'd caught three of them together. I was surprised.

Cool shot at a great location. I obviously "miised the train" when I'd stay on 40 going to Memphis all those times.

Most parts of Memphis you have to be packing some heat and not railfanning solo if you desire coming out unscathed.

I lived there for about six months and never had a problem. I did stick mainly to the CSX, IC and NS yards, but actually did a lot of my fanning across the river. True, there were some parts of Memphis I would never venture in, but I never went there. I love Memphis. Would love to get back someday soon.

I don't know what train this was Bryan. Didn't have my scanner with me.

Just caught the 981 leading a loaded coal train through Columbia today. Didn't have time to set up, so I wemt wedgie with it. This is as close as it's getting to being uploaded here...

Had a little mini vacation in Georgia this weekend, caught several. Most on coal trains, but one on a manifest with a SD50 and B40-8.
