Default too much compression?

Ive talked to two of my friends and they say that this is not as the screeners see it, any ideas

If you take a look at the sky, there is a bit of noise noticeable. It could be a result of compression, or it could be a result of over sharpening in the sky. If this is the case, and if you use a program such as Photoshop, you might want to try selecting only the subject and sharpening it.

It might also be the result of shooting at a higher ISO value, do you know what ISO you were shooting on?

The nose actually looks alright to me, it's passable. But as you look down the line towards the back of the loco, it's pixelated. Keep looking down the line and the units behind are pretty pixelated too. Looking at the trees on either side too look pretty bad. Strange, everything but the nose of the loco looks to be an image quality issue.
