Default Hmmm...

I think I see a little problem with the date and reporting marks here...

Nothing against the shot, which is great. And the consist is an even better find judging by a realistic date.

I noticed the same thing when I first viewed the shot. But when I opened up the photos from today, I noticed this:

Problem Solved.

Easy fix, Gents -- You now have the correct date. Open up both shots, go to the correct photo information - enter the correct date on the one that still says 1974.

Put the correct reporting marks in both.

Wait a quick one to ninety-seven days.

Information will be magically updated.

There has been a lot of bogus info lately. One last week was a CSX SD50 with a unit number of 86xx the caption said csxt 7xxx cw40-8 and the location info is incorrect. I know at a quick glance it may be hard to tell a SD40 from an SD50 but a SD50 from a CW40-8? Some screener asleep at the wheel. That really unlevel one the other day too which made a top2.

Charles, the correct information form does not let one edit the date.

Lightbulb That is funny.

I can also tell you that the train is the Barstow to Cadiz turn on its way back to Barstow because it has that Arizona and California Railroad unit on the tail and it is at Ludlow.

Yup. Happens. My shot of the MEC in Lewiston had "Harrisburg Line" as the location. I submitted a correction several days ago. Still shows wrong...

I think that was mine haha. I went back and changed it though. I had an NS photo I was about to add in, then changed my mind, forgetting to switch the info at the time.

My favorite remains when people put in "SR" as a Southern reporting mark.

As I've said before, it would be nice if the ridiculous photo correction forms could be done away with and we could just directly edit our own pictures......until then I guess there will one shot of the Pickens new branch line to Georgia despite the fact that I submitted a correction 2 months ago...

I agree, though the correction forms worked with me. I entered a shot from Kansas and accidentally put Missouri. I went back and filed a correction form, and it was fixed in a couple of weeks. Still, I think we should be able to directly edit our information, all of it.
