Question Suggestions on this one?

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreject.php?id=121493

Got creamed for poor cropping and poor lighting. I think the lighting is fine, but could use suggestions on cropping.

Thanks,

Rich

My first suggestion would be the right hand side of the photo.

The exposure's good for the conditions, but it doesn't 'snap' as it would were there direct sun (I know, central PA + sunny days= good luck). As far as cropping, maybe a tad off the right (to the crossbuck), a hair off the left, and perhaps a tad off the bottom.

Otherwise, I like the shot, especially the green in the trees and grass. All I'm seeing these days is sand brown...

Cut some off the top and some in front of the engine.

That's because it's been accepted:

I don't notice any blaring cropping changes; did this make it through on appeal?
