Question American Freedom Train Railroad???

http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=98900

Came across this photo today, and I was wondering...Is AFT really a reporting mark? I thought the freedom train was just a special thing SP did (or whoever owned 4449 back then). So when I saw AFT as a reporting mark, I was thinking "Whaaaat???"

Any info on this subject is greatly appreciated!

That's a sweet photo, too.

SP donated the locomotive to the city of Portland Organ in the mid 1950's and remained outside until restoration for the AFT beginning in 1975. Ross Rowland, NY commodities broker came up with the idea and some of the cars may have had AFT reporting marks, but I am not aware of any locomotives bcoming the property of AFT. There was another freedom train in 1947 hauled by an ALCO PA1.
