Could be just contemplating how severe a punishment they want to give the new guy...

A suspension or a ban?

It was recently noted they screen around 500+ shots per day on average so a (currently) 150 or so shot backlog would imply that it's been about 7 hours since a screener screened if the submissions were spread evenly (which I'm sure they're not). Regardless, while maybe bigger than "typical" it's not an unusually big/long backup and as pointed out, they have lives too...

Indeed, they have lives as well, I'm content with being patient.

My advice is to go and submit a photo at JetPhotos - then you'll appreciate the RailPictures turnaround time even more.

Oh yeah...JP is a real test of patience. Just found it unusual for the midweek. The new card check system and the SEIU probably have the screeners in their grasp now.

Yes they do. Why? Because all my photos but one got accepted.
Or maybe the screeners were all sick of my snow shots.

The admin were up in Alaska!

Man I want to get up there and shoot that railroad... before CN buys 'em. (j'k... seems they are buying all my favorite railroads).
