Default Composition Rejection. Continue to Fix?

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...27&key=4581777

Im guessing its because there's not enough train. Should I try and re-crop and add more, or let it be? Thank you.

I would personally try a little tighter, I know the tower is very cool, but maybe eliminating it and just focusing on the diamond and the arc would help you get it accepted. Adding more would probably not help you as your main focus only becomes smaller and less noticeable.

I suspect that they would have preferred an approaching train, or better yet, two trains in the scene.

How fast do the trains move across that diamond? I can see it working with a slow shutter speed and the train blurred (maybe not for RP, but still an idea.)

After the fact - one vote for "continue"! No need to have fixed it...

I like the original -

First "third", the train.
Second "third", the tower - and much more appealing full view.
Third "third", the rest of the scene for the train to travel into.

Ah, well.

Agreed - I prefer the original over the accepted version. Perhaps they thought the more appealing composition and showing more of the interesting trackwork stole too much attention from the arc flash?

Looks like less was more. Thank you for your suggestions! Although I do like the original cropping better. Oh well,in happy it got on.
