Default Any hope for this one?

This was hit with Comp/Balance. Is the Comp fixable, or is it a case of "it's an uninteresting shot that we don't want, so we found something to reject it for"?

The train is centered both ways and is cut off by the edge of the picture. If you have a frame where the picture doesn't cut off the train that would be great. If not, you might slip it in by taking some off the left and bottom.

Also, read the rejection next time:

Quote:
The subject is awkwardly positioned in the frame. RailPictures.Net prefers that images are composed in keeping with the 'Rule of Thirds' meaning that, in most circumstances, the focal point of the image should not be directly in the center of the frame, or too close to any of the edges.

I agree with Derek. It looks as if you had enough room to the left that you could have panned a little to the right to include the train trailing off into the distance. Wasted space on the left as it is.

Ok guys. Thanks. I see what you mean. I'm sure I have a frame previous to this one where the train isn't cut off. I will go back and look. Thanks again.
