Question complex question

hi all
for me my main hobby is railfaning.
second hobby-------> designing locomotives bodies
i have some designs in my head and i wanna to show it to any manufacture that work in locomotives body building and i donot know from where i can start.
i sent to e mails to electro motive but there isnot any replay?
may be they donot care as they have alot of future projects and other designs?
i donot know any website for any manufacture but electro motive.
any link or e mail will help me.
i googled alot of words but no result.
any help will be appreciated.

I couldn't image them using freelance work. With patents, laws and money, you would probably have to work for them to get a design accepted.

i attached 2 pix of my design to the message that i sent it to them.
so may be if they saw my design and interested in it may be they offer awork for me in the design department?

You have to be careful submitting anything important to a company before actually working there. Lets say, that you designed the SD70ACe, and you submitted it to them, but you didn't actually work there. They ovisoly used the design, but no credit was givin to you since you don't work there. I would hold off on sending them desings until you work there.

so i wanna to know what are qualifies that should i have to work there
should i be adesign engineer?
or may be there is jobs for the amatures?
im really wanna to have anice good job there as i wanna to see my designs running in alot of countries on the world.i think that there aspecial code for the locomotives design and some things that should to be in the designed loco.also what about the software programs that help me to design on the computer and have athree dimension pix of my design?
