Subject Is Awkwardly Positioned

Subject awkwardly positioned....I tried to keep the subject away from the middle "third" and away from the edge. Any suggestions here? Thanks.

Try cropping an inch or two from the bottom. I like the shot, but the train is centered vertically.

Hi David,

only a Suggestion: crop half of a centimeter left, on the right crop to the Person on the platform and on the bottom crop to the beginning of the Little pole.
Maybe it works, my expierience is, if you are not exact in the ceter ist ok for RP, and the Chance for acceptance is better tha the object is to near to an edge.

Great location. There was a thread back a while with rejection there and inspired I tried my luck and got a rejection(different composition to include more of mirror blding). I did not pursue it, with different versions, moved on. So I wish you luck but I am last person to advise.

Biggest issue I see is the bottom. The subject is centered vertically because there is too much dead space at the bottom. Unfortunately, you also have that little pole to deal with. If you crop too much, you'll cut off the bottom of it and that won't be pleasing to the eye either. A better camera position (more forward) is the best answer, but if you must deal with this frame, I would crop the bottom to just before the base of the pole and crop the right to just past the armored ceiling light and see what that looks like. A little more highlight reduction might also be useful. If you're using Lightroom, try pulling back the "Lights" slider on the Tone Curve just a tad.

Maybe a vertical here- get the tall buildings in.

Vertical would have been more appealing here. the 1200x1030 ratio is a bit odd too.

When I was there the building was not complete so I had to work with completed section .

Here are two I think I tried. The scene look very attractive but composition is hard???

Thanks to all. The inclusion of the buildings the background gave me an idea to use a bigger frame and it works. Thanks.

But importantly I learned what is causing "upload failed". While correcting a submission I would make the necessary adjustments and put the new photo on my desktop and use it to make an "ADD PHOTO". Since the original photo was still on my desktop, my laptop would use the same photo number but adding a separate number plus parentheses. This was why the corrections "failed." Now I make there are no duplicate or revision photos on the desktop. No more"upload failed."
