Peq...
I'm not sure why this got a PEQ, I got permission from the owner and volunteers of the museum to let me inside the streetcar. And a friend of mine (who I tagged along with) on the same day at the museum got his shot of the Peter Witt streetcar interior on. What am I missing? When I first submitted it, it got bad cropping. Fixed that, now PEQ.. Thanks for the help as always! lol

I hate to say it, but your buddy's shot is better. In yours, it's kinda hard to tell what you're looking at. It's also cluttered. There's a lot of poles in the middle of the shot. In your friend's shot, it's a lot easier on the eye. It's not cluttered and it has a streetcar/ trolley feel to it. Yours looks like a city bus to me.
Don't let that discourage you though. Just remember it for next time.

There are cleaning supplies and other junk in the frame. Unless the car ran with that stuff in place, PEQ.

Ok. If I known that before I got home to upload it and knew I was going to get PEQ for it, I would've got rid of the junk. I can always go back and try it again though. Thanks!

The junk sitting there didn't bug you? That's the first thing I would have moved when doing the staging for this shot.

Well, I honestly never knew that RP would have an issue with that stuff (it seems), now I do know they have an issue and I learned from it. As said before, I can always go back and re-do the photo easily.

You'll learn RP has issues with a lot of things. If you're ever taking a picture and the locomotive door is open, just throw the camera down and don't even think about it.

The funny thing was when I first started taking the pics, I noticed the doors we're open and I forgot to close them. I wasn't even paying attention to the junk on the seats. I guess that's what happens when you don't get enough sleep the night before

It can get hard to pay attention to the little things when you're trying to take a pic. For me, it's leveling. I'm so focused on the exposure and framing, I always forget to level it. Thankfully we have the technology to level after we take a pic.

I do all those things before taking the pic but since my tripod sucks for levelling, I have to do it by the way it looks, then when I end up importing the pics into Photoshop it's a bit un-level.

I dont care if you want it or not, but I am going to give you my opinion. If I was a screener, I would not have accepted either shot. I would have thought about your buddy's shot about 2 microseconds longer than yours before rejecting it too.
The 2 shots as a comparison are completely apples to oranges, I dont know how you cant see that.
At any rate, at first glance it looks like you took a shot of the interior of a school bus. If you have to read a caption to figure out what you are looking at, it shouldn't be on the site...
Maybe there is a school bus picture website that would foam over the shot.

I hate that.
"I'll have a Pepsi."
"We only have Coke sir."
"Okay, Coke and let me kick you in the face please."

Edit: Found it, thank God!
Lesson learned, NEVER! take advice from someone ignorant on here who likes to spite others who are learning to get the hang of this hobby. @%*# is all I can say!

Someone cant take criticism...
My advice is free and usually spot on. You can choose to do with it what you please. I don't like to spite others, there was no need to sugar coat my critique of his shot.

I know how to take constructive criticism, but it just looked like you were bashing at me the way I was reading it.. hence why Derek said "Jeez, Troy. Turd floating in your cereal this morning?". If you don't want to be cool about your advice you give to others then don't even give the advice (to me at least). Thanks boss.
