One of the best photos I have see for a while esp for someone like me who worked even one winter in a railroad yard. Capture just about everything.

The car may be cool to some, but the dude prominently in the foreground shooting with his cell phone does nothing to support the 1960's scene that the photographer claims.

Speaking of cars, checking out a rail site I stumbled on this just sitting out side with a few others next to a building. Not sure how authentic ie original 427 etc since these were so rare - could not believe would just leave it sitting, maybe bringing it in later. I love the style, I had a 67 390.

Maybe a reference to the guy in the photo, with a little translation.

The initial curiosity I had was whether the man was staged, was there earlier and would not move or walked in at the last minute in which case he would be the D........

Anyway, I'd see this shot in the top slot and couldn't figure but I guess the car made it. Then if the translation reference how a D....... can ruin a shot then it is kinda funny,

It may have been a factory 427, but the tachometer on the dash and the narrowed rear/racing tires indicate that the "original" aspect of this car has long ago been lost in favor of the drag strip.

Yes but if you google the actual word used you come up with another meaning ie urban dictionary meaning which could fit the scenario.

Yes and the tach like that is kinda "tacky" looking but if it is a 427 R code it is still neat. Like I mentioned just sitting out in front a shop in an industrial area.

It's just as close as a misspelling of the correct word for "German".
