The engine looks OK, maybe a bit soft, but the ballast and switch machines are soft for sure. As a parallel to looking at numberboards on an engine, take a look at the numbers "2404" "2402" on the switch machines, and my principle is always look at the ballast.
Agree with Charles about the orange.

I'd go ahead and sharpen it just a touch more and assume that's what they really meant in this case. Unlike the other two, I think the orange is fine - It just looks like low angle sun lighting to me . . .

I had tried "fixing" the orange cast using color cast, but when I click on thw white, the scene turns more blue. When I click on the black, it gets all whacked. As it is now, to me the white looks fine, but the lack does have a little orange to it. It was taken around 7 p.m. or so. I still don't entirely see the unsharp, but I may sharpen and reload later.
Did they hit the wrong button?
