Default What a summer

Wow, I'm sitting here this evening feeling a little overwhelmed by the reception of my photos these last 2 months. I'm not even sure what to say but "Thank you"
Thank you for the votes.
Thank you for the encouraging comments left along the way.
Thank you for the tips and answers you take the time to leave in the forums.

It has been 4 years since my first picture was accepted. I have learned a lot from you all. Especially in the beginning through these forums and all those rejections. So I say "Thank you."

These photos are a product of your investment in the people on this site.

Jim, I don't even recall any time in the past when you might have been anything but a fine photographer. But certainly you have achieved quite the level of quality, congrats.

Thanks Janusz. I went through the standard growing pains like most newbies here, especially with editing.
It was people like yourself, Ween, M.J. Allen, Christine (from down under), and Alan Crotty who answered a lot of simple and often repeated questions about USM, scanning resolution, white balance, and some of the other tools in Photoshop that I never heard of that made a huge difference in what I accomplished.
Not being around other railfans, the pictures submitted by others and these forums were like a lifeline to learning.
So here's to all the members, the unsung heroes, who contribute images and information to the viewers on this website.

OK, enough sap, I'm going back to work.
