Railroad photography is what you make of it, but one way is not "better" than another, IMHO. Unless you have a pole right thought the nose of the engine! -SG

LMFAO!!!!!1 I think that's probably the funniest damn thing I've ever seen on this website. Some people suck at life.
I mean I've been a little upset over a rejection before, but Jesus Christ no reason to take it to the extreme. hahah

I run in to one a year that starts talking BS out of the blue how RP ------- and -------- LOL Most can't hardly walk and talk at the same time. I mostly Find them out if the town has a model train show that weekend? May have something to do with it. That tends to bring out some of the lose bolts.

A lot of people would rather blame Railpictures than own up to the fact that they suck at photography. These are the people that call this site Railpricks" and call the admins "rail nzies" or are Danny. V.

On the issue of "loose bolts" and such.

That and a tea kettle.
I don't know what the deal is, but apparently the railroads, private clubs and the mental institutions have this agreement that if there is a steam special somewhere, they let everybody out on a 24 hour pass and they show up track side.
I agree, there are "loose bolts" at train shows, but steam specials take the cake.

I'm not afraid to say it: I suck at photography. But I'm learning more lurking here and I get to see some very cool pics (which helps the learning curve also).
I don't know of this Danny person/thing so I defer any comments.

This would be the individual we are referring to.

Thus is the problem with the youth today, they cannot accept constructive criticism.
They are all special and perfect in every way, and if something is wrong, it's clearly someone else's fault.
Even if your pictures look like they were taken with a 1995 handheld video camera.

Ahhhhh. Not sure what that picture on his front page looks like to you guys but it sure looks bad to me.
Maybe his problem is a lack of a t-shirt?

Thus is the problem with the adults today, they are too entrenched in their old and outdated ways.

Max,
If you think there's a person on this list between 30 and 90 years old who didn't say this same thing nearly verbatim when in their teens or 20s, you would be sadly mistaken.
There is no greater educator than experience itself.

So what's the bigger problem? Kids who think they know it all, or old adults who've forgotten most of it?

The youth seem to have a problem with handling rejection. Perhaps it's at that age where they have egos or they just lack maturity, there is a definitely a relation between teenagers and disliking RP.net.
I for one cannot recall a time where I publicly bitched about RP.. Perhaps I am the exception?
