Default Very strange rejection

The following photo:
http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...13&key=5722410

was rejected with the reason:

- Scan (Dirty): Visible dirt or dust on scan

Really, what does this mean?! I do not understand what scan at all! This is nonsense! LOL. The picture was taken with the Canon PowerShot G1 X digital camera in poor lighting conditions.

I do not see any dirt or dust on the photo. There is is only the dirty electric locomotive coupled with a dirt floor in the picture. This is a rare snapshot of the working locomotive (one of the first "Granite") at the manufacturer works.

I cannot agree with this reason for rejection! It seems me some come-off.
What can I do?

Thank you,
Irina

I suspect the screener just selected the wrong rejection box. You're right--it couldn't have possibly been rejected for that reason.

It's more likely it was rejected for bad color or bad contrast.

I will echo Ron.

Clearly a wrong button was hit.

I think it was the contrast. I'd boost it a bit.

Nevertheless, my appeal for the photo and just against this reason of rejection has been processed and has been rejected.
It seems me that this is the answer of a bot/robot.

I appeal again to the screeners and administration. This is ridiculous!

This is a case where the rejection reason was wrong, but the rejection was not. Aside from the aforementioned contrast issues, it looks a little dark on the main subject to me. Why they didn't fess up to making a mistake with the reason given (not the rejection) on appeal, I don't know. Then again, maybe they did

What "action" is this locomotive in? It appears to be just sitting there.

I dont think you should be upset it was rejected. In addition to what everyone else said, it looks a tad soft too.

Don't appeal again - that is a waste of time. The photo clearly needs some work.
