Is this a rubbish shot or could it have a chance with further editing? The location is difficult to get trains with good light as there are very few during the day. This one runs no more due to COVID-19 lock down and the virtual demise of tourism.

My take only-- an interesting shot, and probably because I've been to NZ and enjoy international railroading.

Taking off that hat, I do think some photo editing may help. Note the white tops of the passenger cars blend into the white sky. So, the colors are a bit blown out. Try a little work there.

I am the last person you want to talk to about photo editing, though. Hopefully, some of our experts in that realm can offer more.

My take, bottom line-- interesting shot, relevant for current times, and may well get on with some color corrections.

If you can keep from blowing the sky out, then perhaps it could be salvageable. The power lines disappear, and the top of the 2nd car becomes one with the sky. If you have enough 1s and 0s in the raw file, I suggest attempting to correct that.

Thanks guys. I shoot in RAW but it seems that it's maybe a shot to retry if I can one day. I have other shots of this bridge including one RP accepted (not taken this way which shows the height of the viaduct.)
