Lost my eye for Composition

Seems like I've lost my eye for visual pleasantness. Can anyone offer some composition ideas?

Shot 1 - siding is cutoff and there's a lot of nothing on the right hand side.
Shot 2 - a lot of nothing on the right hand side. Vertical perhaps?

What Loyd said. When I opened the first shot, my eyes were drawn to the cutoff siding first ting. Like if you had left the train where it was, but panned the camera to the left which would put the train closer to the right side of the frame.

Shot 2 does nothing for me personally
