Congratulations to forum contributors

Sure most have noticed but thought still worth shout out for two of the major contributors to the forum.

And both are shot we're kinda known for. Kevin likes his steam engines, and I'm usually shooting obscure branchlines in questionable conditions.

I did a quick glance as I transferred the days' work onto my laptop / backup / long term backup and saw several with potential. The first 10 or so were best though.

Thanks Guys. Very honestly, seeing this one on the homepage this morning was a surprise. I've been posting a series of images from a Grand Canyon charter last year and although I thought they looked pretty nice, they haven't been doing all that well from a views perspective. I figured that this was just another wedge that wouldn't get any more love than the others. Somebody up in the tower obviously liked it......and I'm grateful for that.

Even though it's a pretty basic shot, you nailed the exposure, composition and processing. The pole line in the shot gives it an authentic type feel too. Couldn't ask for better light too. Was this a photo charter?

I hadn't seen Sam's shot until you linked it, I actually like his a little better because of the lighting and it being a little looser gives it a little depth that I like. They are both fine shots.
