Chicago Subdivisions

Hey,

I am planning on seeing the CP Holiday Train in Gurnee Il on Dec 8th, however I'd like to do some research first! If anyone could help me out I'd like to know what Subdivision this train will be running on from Chicago to Gurnee thanks!

That will be on the former Milwaukee Road mainline on the CPR line. Parking is very limited in the area, unless you don't mind walking. This will be the 4th year I have gone. Nice short visit for a Saturday night. Take care.

Yeah, Former MILW North Line. Don't expect to chase it from Chicago to Gurnee, you'd never make it.

I'll be driving from Chatham Ontario to Gurnee Illinois to check this out! I don't plan on chasing it form Chicago to Gurnee I figured i'd never make it! Anyways, hope to see ya there!
