Default Oh, the Irony

I've been working down in Champaign during the week, and I've gotten bored. Thus, I have started waking up about 1.5 hours earlier(4:30 A.M) and taking Route 45 down, which follows the old IC most of the way.

I took it down this last Monday. As I'm heading down, I'm seeing absolutely no trains. I'm also talking to my girlfriend, who is just leaving for work and running late. Then she blurts out, "Crap! I got stuck by a train."

My response:
"Damnit, why do you have all the luck?"

Every time we approach a crossing I hope that the lights come on. Happens about 1 out of 100 times.
