pretty sweet, Sonoma is my favorite race of the season, maily because of the track design and i love the way it looks. Too bad jeff won, would have loved to see 96 car in the texas insturment DLP car win, he held 2nd for most of the race.

Anyway cool shots, that wreck in the first lap threw me for a loop, but it kind of set the tone for the rest of the race.

I watched the whole thing on tv, wish i could have been there.

Favorite drivers: Denny Hamlin and Kasey Kahne. Photos of them would be nice thanks! Hated drivers: Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Photos of them crashing would be nice!

I'll be headed to Chicagoland speedway in 2 weeks to catch the Cup and Busch races there. I'm planning on taking my Canon Digital Rebel with 300mm zoom to get some great photos.

I like Gordon, Dale Jr., and Waltrip it's Tony Stewart I don't like too much.

I would like to see a photo of the most stereotypical nascar fan!

Rusty!!!! Too bad he retired. I root for Newman (I would say 'Penske,' but Kurt Busch was a bad choice for the #2 Miller Lite Dodge)...

Year 2000 to the present day of 2006:

Kurt Busch - 15 wins.
Rusty Wallace - 6 wins.

I'm thinking Kurt Busch was a good choice for the #2 team after looking at his record of the past 6 years.

It's a bad choice because Kurt isn't exactly a class act. Rusty, on the other hand, was (and still is) a class act. Sometimes winning may have to take a backseat to PR.

I don't think that matters too much to Penske racing, after all they did hire him. Right now he's one of the better racers in nascar so I think it was a better choice than say Scott Wimmer or Travis Kvapil for example. I think we need more drivers like Kurt and Kyle Busch in nascar, it would be boring as hell if every driver was a goody goody.

Yeah, Kurt Busch is an ass. Not a typical Penske fit...

Both him and his little brother are both jerks. I read the report from Phoenix on the traffic stop he was involved in. I find it amusing that his sponser is Miller Light Beer.

People rag on Tony Stewart, but he is nothing anybody has listed here. He is not a goody two shoes, or is he out drunk cussing out cops and being a disrespectful little turd either. And the man can drive the wheels off of anything.

I donno what forum you are reading but I saw nothing at all bad said about Tony Stewart here, not one thing! I said I didn't like him. I also think Tony Stewart and Kurt Bush have simular personalities and that is part of why they are so good. I also think that everybody that is a fan has a driver they don't like and the reason they don't like um may be petty but it is part of being a fan.

I can agree with that, but Stewart is light years ahead of Busch as far as talent. And no, nobody said anything bad about Stewart, but when somebody wants a picture for their dartboard that leaves little doubt as to where Mr. Stewart rates.

But that being said, your rights, fans are just being fans.

I'm not much of a racing fan myself, but I do like cement trucks... (WTF ... ???) Well, a company here in Milwaukeeland has several of their trucks in Nascar-inspired paint schemes... very sharp! So far they've got a #8, #17, #20, and #24 along with their regularly-painted trucks. That #11 would probably make a good candidate for some "inspiration" as well...

Anyways, a few pictures: www.fuzzyworld3.com/p6.html
