Three attempts and misses at hitting you for bad dimensions. Odd.

Why in the world didnt you step forward three feet to get those ugly powerlines out of your shot?

Didn't pay any attention to them, when I was shooting, didn't think it mattered, since they took this one. Which is more cluttered.

That shot is nowhere near as cluttered. The accepted shot has a moderately thick black on the left, harder to see gray lines up top, room around the engine. The reject has thick black cables (because closer) over the engine, across the entire frame, and not attached to anything on either side. Apples and oranges.

Well to me the power lines, and poles were more distracting on the accepted one. Nevertheless, its not like the power lines were draped in front of the locomotive in the reject, hence the ''foreground'' clutter. I suppose standards have changed, since I've been an not so active contributor to the site.

I guess that 10th car on the train screwed several people out of the church shot this year.

It did, I drove up to the other end of Dante to get a shot of it coming into town. Then made it through all the traffic back to the head end, and was surprised to see where it was sitting. I didn't even realize they added a 10th car.

They'd say your photo is too short.

Foreground clutter doesn't have to be obstructing the main subject.

Oh well. I originally had one where I cloned out the wires, but where I am inpatient, and had to go back to the original RAW so much, I just left them..

Anyway, found one I didn't know I had, even though its from last year... Oh look no power lines..
