Default Photo corrections

Hello all in the forum world.

This is my first post, just wondering if there is anything one can do to prevent people from "correcting" things on your pictures (i.e. wrong loco type). I have had several I mislabeled loco designs and they have been corrected. However, specifically, the Duluth Missabe and Iron Range Ry classified their "tunnel motors" as SD40-3's. No "T" was included in the classification as the DMIR didn't care for the tunnel motor design. I have went back and changed them back to SD40-3's only to have them corrected by someone else to the wrong loco. Just a minor thing, but would rather have the correct loco designation.

Thanks all,

Chris

You could add a note about that to the photo's description; it might help.

I aint the guy correcting your pics but are you sure they are not SD40T-3's? B&LE's 907-910 were "Remanfactured at DMIR RWY. at Proctor" and they call them SD40T-3's. Here's a builders plate of that:

B&LE did include the T in their classification. Proctor did rebuild several of these, infact, atleast one has made its way back to the Iron Range this summer for work.
