Default New BNSF swoosh logo

Anyone have any ideas as to how long the new BNSF swoosh (H3) will be around? Will it be a long term deal or will it pass within a few years like the H1 and H2 did? What's your opinion?

Just because you think they're idiots for doing that, doesn't mean you should place those d*mn stereotypes on all Asians, let alone Chinese. There are what, 1 billion people in China?

It's the equivelent of a Jewish customer boycotting a company because a railroad had a swastika for their logo.
I see tons of freight cars and buildings with the swastika logo........even if the company didn't intend having this logo on their equipment.

And anyway...........I never knew BNSF actually owned a container ship or shipping company that has their logo.BNSF owns containers with their logo is on 'em but BNSF doesn't actually ship their own goods, some other company ships thier goods in a BNSF container.and also BNSF has been making the red "Hub Group Inc." containers and not the "evil" BNSF containers.I don't think the shiping buisness should have anything to do with the engines..........but at least the engines wont be changed until they really need paint.Over half the BNSF roster has that logo and wont be changed soon.

They ship the goods over BNSF, that's why they (the customer) decided to boycott BNSF or whatnot.

I agree with BNSF SD40-2B. Those asian idiots need to mind their own business. It's completely ridiculous that a circle with a cross through it is evil and has to be changed. This is my just my opinion, there are two sides to every story.

I find the BNSF swoosh offensive. It offends my sense of common sense. Bring back CONRAIL!!!!

Do you really think think that the shipping line represents the entire continent of Asia? Plus, it's a religious symbol, as is the cross to christianity.

If you saw someone doing something to the the US flag you didnt like, youd certianly say something, as I would too. Im willing to bet the Asian community did the same. Since it offends them, it offends them, not much we can do except respect it and fix it accordingly.

Like UP does by putting the American flag on thier locos and then not having the decency to wash them.

Hopefully in another 5-10 years BNSF will find another reason to change their paint scheme and hopefully it will be better. It will be interesting to see what comes about in the next few years.

A thousand pardons for saying "The Idiots in Asia". I was just quoting what BNSF_SD40-2B said. Just relax.

If a railroad with a swastika for their logo has the cheapest and most efficient service then it is a poor business decision for a company, jewish or otherwise, to ship with anyone else. Period. The goal of a good business is to make as much money as possible, not take moral stands.

I frankly think it is good business to take the moral highground and I believe they would not be in business if they didn't.
Calling people idiots really gets you nowhere.

I think BNSF should paint big pictures of Hitler hitting an orphan with a rubber hose on the side of their engines. That way nobody will want to use their services and ship on the Union Pacific, the railroad with the smartest and best looking employees.
