Default Underexposed shot help

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...12&key=5375428

I'm working with this shot. It's one of my favorite so far and I want to try to get it on here (I only have 1 photo in so far). Any suggestions on how to make this screener happy with the exposure? I don't want to over expose it but I also don't want the same crap with under exposure happening.

Thanks, Christian

You might need to do just a little shadows and highlight work to get the details in the train to stand out. The shot doesn't really seem that underexposed to me. It's that the light is more or less dead on the front of the train and not on the side. You can tell this on the bridge pilings. The sun isn't shining on the side facing us as much as it is under the bridge. Knowing RP's stance on lighting, you may have trouble getting this one in.

This shot is perfectly fine the way it is in my opinion. If they reject it again, go back and try to re-shoot with some better lighting and try again. Nice shot though.

Thanks. I have another chance this coming Sunday to go out there. Will the sun be perfect? I hope.

Lightbulb

The side of the train is in the dark.

That is the problem regardless as to what they rejected it for.

Re-Shoot it.
