There are totally 12 lcoomotives working in Kowloon-Canton Railway and lead the freight trains from ShenZhen ,mainland China, to Hong Kong through East-rail .

Let's me recommend some websites to you ~

You can find the loco's information below .

Hong Kong uses many EMD exports, yes/no? GT22s, 26s?

I would be interested in seeing more. Didn't know a whole lot about EMDs export line until I was stationed in Seoul, Korea back in '03.

Umm... only 12 locos and only 6 were exported by EMD .

2 G12-1125 ( no.51,52 ) B-B , Clyde 1954
3 G12-1315 ( no.53-55 ) B-B , Clyde 1957
3 G16 ( no.56-58 ) C-C , EMD 1961
1 G16 ( no.59 ) C-C , Clyde 1966
1 G26CU ( no.60 ) C-C , EMD 1974
2 G26CU ( no.61,62 ) C-C , EMD 1977

52 - 55 were sold to CFCLA , Australia .

KCRC had booked 5 diesel locomotives ( ER20 ) from Siemen .
They are 8001 , 8002 , 8003 , 8004 , 8005 .
