Anyone remember this?
Several years ago, someone referenced a lesser-known collection of full screen vintage diesel photos, probably on Flickr. I can't find the link either here or on my computer. Anyone recall who it might be?

That's quite vague but heres a link I think everyone, yourself included, might enjoy regardless of whether or note this is the photographer you are refering to:

Thanks, Mitch. Neither seems to be the one in question, but both these gentlemen have some worthy shots to look over.
Maybe I can find it by starting with my forum join date (unless it was in that massive thread that admin deleted)

Try first-out (Todd Novak). He had a large vintage collection, including some of Bob Malinowski's killer shots.

Todd definitely has some choice stuff posted. I "followed" his collection some time ago.
The ones I'm looking for were pretty much uncropped and uncorrected. Maybe I bookmarked the location (among a zillion other places!).

If I come across anything like that as I expand my horizons in Flickr, I'll let you know. In the meantime, you may want to check out Mel Patrick, whose stuff is sublime. Also, Hal Reiser, a contemporary of mine who has a lot of nice northeast, especially D&H, material.

You may be looking for James E. Humbert. His collection meets your description.

You may also want to check out Bill Raia - lots of vintage stuff, much of it pristine.

Another treasure trove on Flickr:

Pennsy electrics, NYC steam, New York City Els and trolleys, and more I didn't get to.
Somehow this gentleman has only acquired 25 followers in 12 years.
