Default A PEQ rejection

Not sure if they didn't like this streetcar, streetcars in general, maybe the angle.....

What does anybody else think, a legitimate PEQ? I have more 3/4 angles of this streetcar I can try but I get the feeling it will not get in no matter the angle.

Hi Michael,

There is no problem posting streetcar shots on RP. There are tons of them. They aren't always very popular, because RP is largely a diesel crowd. I have a shot of a nearly identical car from Maine's Seashore Trolley Museum:

I think that one of two things could have caused the rejection.

A. Perhaps the screener looked at the shot and really didn't take the time to comprehend what he was looking at. It happens. They see a LOT of pictures every day.

B. More likely, they don't like the angle, and if that was the case, I'd be inclined to agree. This is not the best angle to show any trolley, but especially one configured like the Montreal open car. Nearly head-on might work if you had some elevation to show the interior of the car, but as it is, most of the details of the car are obscured/hidden.

I would submit one of your 3/4 angle shots and see how that flies.

It's a very poor angle for a 'roster' style aka visually descriptive photograph.

So shouldn't have been a bad angle rejection?
