My favorites would be:
#3 http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=38055 (my first snow shot)

#2 http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=38940

#1 http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=38574 trying to stay ahead of an eastbound coal train, I heard this one coming from the other side of the bridge.

By the way, ICE, 35140 is excellent!

Thanks! I really like it, too!

Out of yours, I like 37216 the best. If I remember correctly, it was your first digital shot (or one of them). Remember at the beginning how you were struggling with film? I think I even attempted to PS one of them. Look how much you've improved! Great shots!

While it's not the best, it's in a favorite location:

The thing that sucks for me is that I don't have a scanner that will scan above 300 dpi...or a digital camera. (If anybody has any ideas on another alternative, please let me know! ) Out of the few pics I have online, (the ones that I deemed turned out decent), this is probably my favorite...

photo id: 37256

for quality...I like id: 37240

still, most definitely NOT my best shots!

I guess you use film like me. What I found to do is that when you take the film to get them developed ask them if they can put them on CD for you. The place I go has a 35mm film scanner and it scans at like 4000+dpi. My photo's that I have had done this way are great. Very good quality photo's on CD for only $6 to $10. Meijer does it for $6 at 4000DPI , click camera $9 but they use a 5000+DPI scanner. Just ask the photo shop what kind of film scanner they have and what the resolution is.

Here are some that were scanned at Meijer and Click Camera!

Thanks a bundle...I will have to try that.

Unfortunately, living in the "sticks." no Meijer stores 'til I get to Ohio! (Believe me, I was born in Columbus!)

We do have a local photo place here, I just don't know if they can do it!

All my pictures are so good, I can't pick one. Every single one should be on a magazine cover! They are too good to share with the "average" Joe., so you won't see them on here.

Why the hell are you attacking me? Why don't you respond to the person who actually insulted you? And some actual photos to back it up won't hurt either!

Due to Mr. Yardmaster's recent posts I have seen fit to ban him from the forums.

Judging from his posts today and in the past he is someone who would rather stir up trouble than have anything worthwhile to contribute.

Peter,

I like the angle you got for photo 32945.

Were you in a ditch or did you have to lay down for that shot?

Lying down, sorta. My camera's body rotates around the lense (Sony F717). I placed the camera on the ground and tilted the body upwards so I could see on the display what I was shooting.

Here are a few of the ones I really like.

I like the way the eye just roams around in this shot ... http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=39846

I like this one because it looks like we've stepped back in time to about 1902 ... http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=31772

This one reminds me of "She'll Be Comin' 'Round the Mountain" ... http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=31769

I like this because it says, "Alaska". It's a rare shot because ARR only leased Amtrak locos for two years ... http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=31746
