Default Composition Help

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...d=838641&key=0
I shot this last night and it was rejected for composition/balance. Is the position of the train the problem? I have frames before the elevator and 2 after this shot was taken. Thanks for any help!

Yep. Train is too centered. The train needs to be closer to the right edge of the frame. The photo is also leaning slightly to the right.

Does the attached version look better? There is room on the right still, and I tried to incorporate the city water tower in, but it didn't work in my opinion. I have one more frame over to the right, but I would like to keep the fans on the side of the elevator if I could. The next frame has them blocked out by the train.

That's better, but I'm leaning toward it being too centered still. You might want to consider cropping out some of the building with the blue on it. Also, the shot is still leaning to the right.

Thanks Joe. I will level it and crop some of the building.

I recropped the shot and took out the blue shed. What do you think now? I need to level it still too.
