Thumbs up Train photos make Webshots.com editors pic for Thursday 4/27

Since this is a railroad photgraphy site I thought I'd share this. I was surprised to wake up yesterday morning and find a ton of guestbook entries for my photo album for "SoCalTrains - March 2006" at Webshots.com. It was picked as a top three album for April 27, 2006. This is my second time having a RR album picked for top three of the day. They've labeled it "SoCoMotive" and it's located here:

It's nice to see trains get some recognition and to see peoples comments who enjoy trains or have not enjoyed trains but see the beauty in them. Comments like this make it worthwhile!

"When I was a kid I had a bunch of photos like these from Union Pacific Calendars. When I found them in our attic, something like 20 years worth of them, my Father said he had collected them for a long time but had quit. I was really pleased when he said I could have them. I separated them and wall-papered my room with them. That was the first time I realized there was something else to look at outdoors besides corn fields... Thanks for the memories you conjured up with these photos. "
