Default The problem is.....

I'm dumb.

I have managed to set a personal record for "bad color" rejections on this shot.

1st try,

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...62&key=4702060

2nd try,

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...26&key=7383553

3rd try, (and I'll admit a bit much on the saturation etc..)

http://www.railpictures.net/viewreje...31&key=5584464

But I'll be damned that I can't figure this out.

Any ideas?????

Thanks in advance.

I think they may be looking for something that looks a little more white and a little less blue.

Bingo. Your 2nd attempt was the closest, but still needed some work. Take a look at the rough edit I attached. You want it to look something like that, but spend more than 2 minutes on it. The "Auto Color" tool in Photoshop provides a pretty good starting point from your second rejection.

BINGO is correct!

Thanks, Jim for pointing me in the right direction. Went a bit warmer (less blue) re-submitted and honestly had a little throw-up in my mouth as it went down in the queue. Looked at my rejected pile and it wasn't there. Gulp. Looked and the recently accepted and drumroll......

Well, now that it's accepted, you have the perfect opportunity to resubmit a better one, because the accepted one is still too blue. Notice the numbers on the side of the cab. They should be pure white, not a light blue like in your shot.
