Default A Curio rejected

This photo was rejected for PAQ. I guess they think it's not got enough rail content, but my shots of funiculars have been accepted before.

Anyway never mind, but I thought some people would like to see it as it is a curiosity.

Hi Graham,

I think the issue here is that the photo angle does not make it obvious that this car is on rails. Since you get about 3 seconds of the Screeners time, my guess is that he doesn't have time to read the caption.

Do you have any more angles that show the rails?

I thought the funicular had great perspective, you really want to tell what it is all about. There is great detail of some of the gear and the man looking down a little warily adds, but maybe if it were a ............ instead?? Smile

I didn't want to start a new thread for this photo but since we are on PAQ I thought this one had some interesting qualities, like the alternating colors on the rail.

I agree.... the headlight glare doesn't help either.
