Default The end of my website

Just imagine the song from the "Apocalypse Now" soundtrack: "This is the End... " to get in the right mood.

So it will do with mine. - If you want to visit, you'll have time until then.
I'm still planning on a new website, but the energy lacks to do this. So there may be some time before I will get any other internet presence than here at RailPictures.net.
"Kilroy's Trains" was online for about 10 years.

That would be The Doors, sir. Originally on their 1967 album that also included "Light My Fire."

Thanx Joe, for the Info!
I am not so strong in music. Knowing a lot of the classics, but there's also a lot where I only know the song, but not to ask me which band this could have been .

Why not buy a website? Smugmug offers webhosting for as cheap as $40 a year. With that you get unlimited storage, unlimited traffic, and no adds, which NO other free host provides (that I know of).

If you decide to join, send me a private message and I can save you a few dollars and make a few dollars for myself

Maybe you can make your current link point to a page that says "Kilroy was here" when the Geocities site closes shop.

Wish I had heard of that before :-p Oh well, $150 was cheaper than my previous webhost anyway.

This must be "Bad" ! - I like it anyway, - BUT you should not make such jokes around here it remembers me someone important at this website, who might not like this...
Beware of the:

Thanks all for your input, as I am far enough away from you, maybe I could tell you that: I have everything together to remake my new website since about one year or so: 100 MB free webspace from my provider, a cheap programm to build it together (now I surely will be killed or so... ).
The only thing I need is some courage and a lot of time, ... I have a big lack in patience over the last years... I prefer go out take a deep breathe of fresh air and some georgeous views from some hills down on some tiny trains passing by, - after that still a few hours on some PC screen, so sometimes when I make things right you will see appear a new picture...
