Default What is the deal with Kate Shelley?

I was down there in November 2007 and was quickly turned around after getting a glimpse of the bridge and construction. I was hopeful that it was short lived and one would be able to get photos of the massive structure once they were done.

Does anyone local have any information. Sucks they don't want to show it off as it really isn't a "target".

I prefer the view in the first photo anyways, makes it look like the train is still on the old bridge. I dont really see the attraction to the new bridge, about as interesting as a highway bridge.

Hi The tuff thing is getting above the old one, If you want to shoot from the lit side you have the road to shoot from. The farmer that owns the land on all sides will not put up with trespassing and with the trees my shot is about all you have. Night shots from the North side is something I will be working on this fall.

And the track centers are 30'? hard to tell, also the bridge piers are straight up and that give it an odd look to.
