Default WSOR 4025 (25th anniversary) damaged in derailment

Hi all! Well a WSOR freight derailed in Waukesha WI, and several covered hoppers. The 4025 was damaged in the cab section. There may have been more engines damaged as well. Here is a link to a video showing the wreck:

Here us a link to a photo I took just last Monday of the 4025:

When I took the photo, I never dreamed that it would be wrecked a week Later!

Thats really too bad, as the 4025 was a great looking unit...however, it is great to hear that no one was injured. Thanks for the info, Adam!

Like CG said it was good that no one was injuried, but the good news is that 4025 will not be scraped and the most work it will need is a new cab and paint and the will be back on the road earning revenue miles again

Unhappy

4004 completely jumped the tracks and was more than likely also damaged, although it's probably more to the underbody on that unit. 4006, the lead unit, stayed completely on the rails and as far as I know is all right (at least compared to the other two). One of the two derailed units, or possibly both, leaked at least some fuel out as well, which is why near-by residents were evactuated.

Reports say that the CN mainline was back in and functioning again at about 1pm today (8/23). It's good to hear that no one was hurt, and it's also good there were no Hasmat cars involved; that could have been much, much worse.

I saw that unit back in April in Janesville, but my only shot of it was into the sun... Damn...

NS 2557: Actually, 4025 was "scraped" pretty good, but it will not be "scrapped"...
WSOR 3807: The reason the neighborhood was evacuated was because a piece of welded rail was bent up in the air into a loop, and authorities feared that it would snap and go flying through somebody's house! Unlikely, from what many have said, but better to be on the safe side...
SamD: You'll probably get your chance to shoot it again...
