Default I guess something like this has no place here, but boats, & doors & paper signs do?

Thought this might get some interest, guess not

Too much work to find the train. Nice enough, but not RP.

Interesting concept but the tracks were just too far away.

What Brent says, right now my eye goes directly to the truck. With the top of the bridge cropped out the other elements actually frame the train pretty well. That dull paint scheme sure doesn't help though...

I included the truck because ironically it is a Dole fruit truck. Fruit, juice...

I have another crop where the train is more centered in the frame, directly under the "C" on the Clearance sign on the bridge, would that be better? I could crop off a bunch off the right

Good idea / location, bad execution on several levels.

Let me clarify a couple things you may or may not have done differently (better):

1. You could have stepped forward 10-15 feet and not had the roof of the box cars touching the bridge support.

2. You could have waited a few more seconds for the truck to be more to the right in the frame so the SUV wasn't blocking the logo on the trailer (assuming it was moving at a different speed from the truck).

Things beyond your control:

3. shadows suck
4. the SUV in front of the truck sucks
5. the railing on the bridge is blocking the wheels of the truck.

Hahaha, I was waiting for someone to do it!

Good points in general, but if you look closely, you will actually find a row of blue pixels between box cars and support - two rows at the right end. Admittedly, it looks like it is merged. But also it doesn't look like he could step forward 10-15 feet, that would put him in the skateboard venue - I am assuming (but don't know) that he shot from the edge. He could have gotten down on his knees though.

It was intended to be satire.

Actually, Troy, the picture would have been just fine, and probably have gotten POTW or Tof24, if you had just replaced those skateboarding dudes with some chicks in bikinis.

Oh, I understand completely, but just to satisfy Januz's curiosity, here is why I could not even stand 5' closer

Looks like if you push the saturation just a pinch it will get in.

He is busy being a college student.

He should pop in again when the Spring term is over.

Should have been done after the first attempt, if not sooner than that.

Troy I was defending you! I knew there was a reason you didn't stand closer.

Jim, go shutter yourself.
