That'll do quite nicely, Kevin. And thanks Joe! Thanks to all for the advice. I think I'm going to let the 3x blue go for now, try to shoot it again. Like I said I've been seeing the triple blue 60I configuration a lot lately. The location is only 20 minutes down the road, hardly a waste of time. Jen's got a nice side shot of it, I'll coax her into uploading it.

Hey Ben, how come you didn't level this one the same way as the last one?

Because I'm inconsistent in everything I do? I don't know Jim!!! haha. I leveled that one to what looked good to my eye, no grid. The shot in question earlier, I went back and used the grid. I think whats throwing me off is probably the upper deck. I'm not happy with how the upper deck on the Route 40 bridge is slanting in the wider shot. It's such a prominent feature, I guess, that my eyes draw attention to the slant.

You first shot shot, after correction, looks level, while everything in the second one is leaning to the left. The biggest thing I noticed is the vertical on the brick building in the background. It's just funny that the second accepted picture is nearly identically unlevel as your image that started this thread, but the screener missed that.

Does that bridge actually slant upwards? I know St. Paul has some very steep grade large bridges across the Mississippi.

I don't think it does. When I go back I'll check it out. You'd think I would know for all the times I've been there, but I just haven't noticed. Good possibility it is for all the trouble it's giving me.

Hmm, never noticed. I guess I was worried about the screener being a prick and hitting it for unlevel because of it. Guess I was wrong.

It was pretty obvious in the original rejection that the bridge deck isn't supposed to be level. Just look at the concrete footings...the one on the left is noticeably taller than the one on the right.

Or you could spell out that the bridge slopes like that in the Comments to Screeners area or on appeal if the original screener doesn't catch it...

Tried that, not with that shot, but in other shots and they get shut down. Doesn't really matter, guys. Their site, not mine.

Did I miss something? The PCA shot has nothing to do with any of the images discussed.

That threw me for a loop, J! I was confused as well, wondering what that image had to do with the other images.

Yes, there is obviously a total lack of situational awareness here. But, it is not you or Janusz........

Clearly another thread has been brought into this one, sort of like when the CSI cast shows up on Law & Order.

Sorry, one of ben's very recent threads titled Trends, discussed this shot. And I got messed up. I am surprised none of you remember that thread.

Sorry for the confusion.

You got the punch line right but the photo is way under saturated.

Ah, now I get it. Should have put that shot in THAT thread to make more sense, . It's all good. A bit off topic on the topic of this thread, and more on your topic ( ) , I didn't expect to get PCA at all on that shot. Seeing the view count it was getting, didn't expect it at all. Like the other thread says, it's hard to judge (besides derailments) what people go goo-goo-ga-ga over.

Ben
