What an idiot. That's actually rrpicturearchives that has that policy. They won't let you become a member if your area's already well-documented. And last I checked, they still had a monthly quota on new memberships.
Fail.

Here's the whiny little punk who started that page: (second from left)
He's the pimple-faced kid in the middle:
And here's one of his shots along with the rejection reason and his reply to the rejection:
Quote:
Reason(s) for Rejection:
- Composition/Balance: The composition of this photo is poor relating to the overall balance of the image.
|
Quote:
YEA IF I HAD THE ELITE it would be a fine photo
|
No, I'm guessing someone who "had the elite" would know better than to submit that shot as it is.
Quote:
Reason(s) for Rejection:
- Bad Cropping: Most often this means that the composition of the photo is poor as it relates the cropping of the image.
- Horizon Unlevel: Try leveling the image in your photo editing software.
- Overexposed
|
Really? RP's screeners are assholes because HE doesn't know how to compose a shot and level it?
What a little brat. He is the perfect example of someone who hasn't been spanked and SHOULD have been while growing up.

Its fun to see how much crap they have to go thru, The screeners. I add i wasn't as good as they are at that age but then I had a Kodak 110.

Well, OK, I shall break my own principle and participate.
I popped through some of the photos and several of them mention rejection reasons that RP does not use. Who knows what was originally said, whether or not they even uploaded to RP, etc. I just don't get it, the detachment from reality.
and it also seems like some just don't realize that a rejection is not final - they don't seem to realize that all they have to do is adjust their shot and upload again.
I just don't get it.

Did you spell "grammar" incorrectly on purpose?

J, that facebook page is a prime example of the pussification of America (yeah, I know there are some foreigners who posted on there as well). These people are coddled when they are growing up, never facing rejection or defeat and never learning how to deal with it. In Michael Tierney's world, EVERYONE is a winner, and no one knows how to handle adversity.

Everybody is a winner, and the real world eats winners.

Check out the shot of the Big Boy posted by Shaner quite amazing that it has the exact same smoke patterns and angle as Lerros SC.

Which Michael Teirney?

I feel like you are making some reference to current events or culture and I am missing it.

WOW
I thought that shot looked pretty good! I figured it was just one of those cases where it needed a minor adjustment and the person just got worked up about it instead. Sometimes I forget that there are liars in this world.
